We are looking for an exceptional part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our close-knit, wellness-focused dental practice.

About Our Practice
We are transitioning toward a wellness-centered approach to dentistry.
Our services and philosophies include:
- SMART-certified safe mercury amalgam removal
- Hydroxyapatite and other preventive alternatives
- Ozone therapy
- Nutrition counseling
- A whole-person approach to oral and systemic health
- Previous experience with wellness or biologic dentistry is welcomed but not required. We are happy to train the right person.
Position Details:
- W-2 employee position.
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
- Opportunity to add more days in the future.
- 60-minute adult prophylaxis appointments.
- Approximately 2–4 hours scheduled for scaling and root planning, depending on the patient’s clinical needs.
- Hygienists generally work independently, but our team communicates and helps one another when the schedule or a patient’s needs require adjustment.

- Dental care provided for the employee and immediate family, when needed.
Qualifications:
- Active California Registered Dental Hygienist license.
- At least two years of clinical dental hygiene experience.
- Strong periodontal assessment and clinical skills.
- High-quality radiographic technique.
- Dependable, professional, and punctual.
- Comfortable learning new technology and clinical protocols.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent preventive and periodontal care.
- Educate patients about maintaining and restoring their periodontal and overall oral health.
- Accurately complete periodontal charting and clinical documentation
- Take diagnostic-quality radiographs.
- Perform iTero scans and discuss relevant findings with patients; training will be provided.
- Collaborate with the doctor and team on treatment planning and patient education.
- Incorporate evidence-informed wellness and biologic approaches into patient care.
- Communicate recommended treatment and continuing-care needs to the front-office team.
- Help patients schedule their next hygiene or treatment appointment.
- Set up, break down, clean, and stock the hygiene operatory.
- Help maintain, sterilize, and organize hygiene instruments.
- Follow high-quality infection-control protocols.
- Assist teammates when needed to keep patient care running smoothly.
